United Kingdom-based “YOO Hotels & Resorts” has revealed plans to establish at least 20 hotels under its lifestyle brand across Southeast Asia over the next three to five years, targeting key locations in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Yoo Hotels is a noted leader in hotel design, brand, and marketing worldwide. It has 82 projects in 34 countries, including Brazil, India, Vietnam, Russia, the United States, Italy, Turkey, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Israel, Thailand, and Costa Rica. Hence, it will be their first venture in Cambodia.
Paul Dodd, who is sitting on the board of British Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (Britcham), expressed delighted to learn that Yoo Hotels’ is planning to expend business by entering Cambodian market besides than neighboring countries.
In addition, he encourage all businesses to consider Cambodia as the preferred investment country in Asia.
UK has substantial investments in Cambodia. BritCham form a group of nearly 80 members, mostly engaged in construction and real estate, insurance, education, accounting, banking, and other businesses. These include Grant Thornton, Jaguar, Land Rover, KPMG, Deloitte, PwC, Prudential, Hongkong Land, Standard Chartered Bank, and Jardines.
