Cambodia’s female Taekwondo star, Sorn Seavmey had announced that she is ready to compete in 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan next year.
She was Cambodia’s first Asian Games gold medalist in 2014 which held in Incheon, South Korea. Besides, she was also medalist in multiple SEA Games and claimed victory in middleweight category for 2016 Asian Olympic in Manila, Philippines.
In 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Seavmey’s further aim for an Olympic medal but unfortunately was defeated by Dutch counterpart, Reshmie Oogink with a result of 1-7.
In December, she will be representing Cambodia for the 2020 Olympics qualifying round, as well as representing her country for 2019 Manila SEA Games.
