President of Hungary Begins State Visit in Cambodia
H.E. János Áder, President of Hungary and his spouse spent their four-day, state visit in Cambodia, invited by His  Majesty  Preah  Bat  Samdech  Preah  Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia.

According to the press release, The President had a meeting with Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, about various fields of bilateral cooperation, as well as regional and international issues of common interest.

Hungarian President Janos Ader had told Prime Minister Hun Sen that his government will support Cambodia’s continued access to the EU’s “Everything But Arms” (EBA) agreement and hailed Cambodia’s development with high-rise building as a sign of a “good future”.

Eang Sophalleth, the assistant to Prime minister Hun Sen released that Ader will send specialists from Hungary to help Cambodia in supplying clean water, waste disposal and other matters related to urban development. In addition, Hungary would also help introduce technology to solve the Kingdom’s waste problems.

During the trip, Hungary President and his spouse also visited temples in Angkor Archeological Park and a few landmarks in Siem Reap province.

The President’s first visit to Cambodia will mark an important milestone for Cambodia-Hungary bilateral relations and further reinforce the long-standing bonds of friendship and solidarity as well as the increase in scope and depth of cooperation between both countries.
