Cambodia is following market trends in China, Europe and USA by introducing its first online e-motorbike app in the market which launched by Go2, a Singaporean founder – Carl Wong.

 

Users will be able to pay per minute to get from destination to destination. Once the user successfully download & register Go2 app, they may top up their usage in minutes via bank card, ABA pay or Wing.

 

These eco-friendly motorcycles are run through battery power packs. It can be swapped within minutes, unlike other electric charged vehicles that need to be plugged in and charged for several hours.

 

This trend has taken off across in a few develop countries under a ride-share model. As long as you have the app and locate an empty scooter in the street, you can activate it.

 

Carl, 58, is backed by five partners. He shared that the ride-share model provides an inexpensive option to get around the city. Two-hour free period will be rewarded after successfully download, subsequently will be charge at three cents per minute. The bikes are located at 13 Circle-K outlets in Phnom Penh which operating 24 hours. Currently, 40 bikes are cater in Phnom Penh and the company targeting 500 bikes by year 2021.

 

Go2 reported that 250 people have register the app and about 100 pax have used the service. This new business concept launched in Cambodia is another step into the modern era.
