In efforts to have one million luxury trees in Pailin province, approx.. 20 monks and 110 Buddhists planted another 2,000 in Sang Rokhavoan area.
Pailin provincial chief monk Ear Sophan reported that the luxury trees were donated by Pailin Provincial Forestry Administration and Buddhists across the Kingdom and living abroad.
This replanting project had been started July last year in those places where were destroyed by forest fire. They plan to request for more space to plant the remaining ones.
Pailin Forestry Administration director Om Virak praised the kindness of the monks and Buddhists whom had committed to plant one million luxury trees as the number of these trees are decreasing.
