Early Years School at Flatiron
With the start of the school year on September 1st approaching, and the building work at our Early Years School at Flatiron in its final stages, the time is right to invite our prospective parents into our school. We will, therefore, be holding an Open Week from Monday 18 to Saturday 23 July, aimed at parents of children between the ages of 7 months and 4 years old.
The Open Week will be hosted by Mrs. Charlotte Thomas, Principal of Early Years, and Mr. Edwin Messchendorp, Admissions Manager. Charlotte and Edwin will take the parents on a tour of the site, and briefly present some information about the school. Afterwards, there will be ample time to ask questions and have individual conversations.
Additionally, parents of children between 7 and 36 months old can take part in the ‘Infant Child Development and Monitoring Assessment’, which helps them to determine their child’s age-related developmental progress. The assessment includes evaluating their sensory, motor, and problem-solving abilities, social-personal sensitivities, and communication skills through a questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire will be analyzed by and discussed with Mr. Charles Wong, co-founder of SISPP, who has over 20 years of experience in education. Best of all, the assessment is completely free of charge!
We are hoping for as many parents as possible to attend, so that our school will finally come to life with the sound of children and their families. With parents and children exploring our classrooms and becoming familiar with the new world-class Early Years school opening at Flatiron, an atmosphere of education will begin to grow in our school and in the entire Flatiron building. We are looking forward tremendously to meeting our prospective families, both those who we have become acquainted with already, and those who are visiting us for the first time.
