Coming soon to Flatiron Phnom Penh, a new-look Italian restaurant and steakhouse rooted in authentic Italian recipes and ingredients, finessed with a thoroughly modern flair. Siena Restaurant is set to become a standard bearer in the city thanks to its mix of traditional Italian cooking, a smart, contemporary setting and, of course, those spectacular Flatiron views.
Following a painstaking search for the very best of Italian imported ingredients, many of which can’t be found anywhere else in Cambodia, Siena’s Executive Chef Pino Napoletano will be serving up a whole new approach to Italian food in Phnom Penh. With almost 30 years of experience in the kitchen, including a stint at a renowned Michelin-starred restaurant in Napoli, Chef Napoletano has honed his extensive skills in the north and south of Italy, Switzerland, Germany, the United States and Thailand as a Chef and Executive Chef at the highest levels.
We think he’ll be right at home on the 27th floor of Flatiron, preparing dishes that are as uplifting as the views. And we think you’ll love the beautiful blend of Old-World traditions served in a cutting-edge contemporary setting, which offers both style and romance. On a global plane, Italian cuisine is a vast yet surprisingly under-explored culture, rich with layers of tradition and flavour with which many are still unfamiliar. Thanks to Chef Napoletano’s wide experience, diners will find dishes that reflect the best of Italian cuisine from the top to the bottom of the country including classics their happy tastebuds will instantly recognise and some they have not yet tasted. Prepare, for example, for a sublime Lamb Shank slow-cooked with Tomato, Olives, Courgette and Capers, or the famously flavourful, fragrant and colourful Livornese Fish and Seafood in a light tomato sauce with Garlic Breads.
