Cambodia Joins Global Real Estate Map

Cambodia is now officially featured in the map of National Association of Realtors (NAR) after joining the United States-based organization last year.

Headquartered in Chicago with over 1.1 million members, NAR is a North American trade association for those who work in the real estate industry. Recently, the organization just held an annual gathering in the city of Boston, attended by a delegation of Cambodian real estate agents, led by the Cambodian delegation was chairman of the Cambodian Valuation and Estate Agents Association (CVEA) Cheng Kheng. 

The participation able to increase the exposure of the local property market. Deputy chairman of CVEA - Kuy Vat said that the annual meeting allows them to research the international market as well as promoting Cambodia’s real estate sector globally as 20,000 participants will are attending it.

Dr Kim Heang, president of CVEA, expressed that their mission to Boston will allow the group to learn more about the latest technologies in the real estate business. The conference is focused on the future global real estate sector, hence, it is a great opportunity for international firms to get together and learn from each other.

This is the third time that CVEA members have attended NAR’s annual meeting with a total of 65 countries participation.
