柬埔寨官员及专家宣称RCEP象征着多边主义和自由贸易的胜利 

柬埔寨官员和学者指出,区域全面经济伙伴关系协定(RCEP)标志着多边主义和自由贸易的胜利,并且它将成为地区和全球经济增长的驱动力。
 
RCEP是10位东盟成员国(文莱、柬埔寨、印度尼西亚、老挝、马来西亚、缅甸、菲律宾、新加坡、泰国和越南)以及中国、日本、韩国、澳大利亚和新西兰这些自贸协议伙伴在2020年11月15日签订的一项大型贸易协定。
 
该贸易协议预计将于 2022 年 1 月 1 日生效。

柬埔寨发行新钞以纪念巴黎和平协约签署 30 周年 

The Royal Government of Cambodia had launched a new banknote of 30,000 Riel (approximately US$7.5) to mark the 30th anniversary of Paris Peace Agreement (23 October 1991 – 23 October 2021).

The commemorative banknote allowed to circulate along with other existing banknotes across the country, according to a sub-decree dated on Oct. 18 and signed by Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.

This new banknote is 170-mm-long and 75-mm-wide with three dominant colours – green, brown, and purple, said the National Bank of Cambodia in a Prakas (official announcement) made public this morning.

柬埔寨宣布启动“沙盒计划”   

From 30 Nov 2021 onwards, international tourists who have been vaccinated will be able to spend their vacations in Sihanoukville, Koh Rong Island and Dara Sakor tourism zone in Koh Kong Province without going through quarantine.

They will have to go directly and stay at these beach destinations like a child in a sandbox.

After devastating the tourism industry, COVID-19 pandemic is enabling it back to life in its most basic form. Sandbox tourism amounts to a caricature of mass tourism.

柬埔寨“将实现 20% 的能源供应来自太阳能”

Scores of seven solar photovoltaic (PV) projects are in the pipeline for construction and ready to put into operation by 2023. The Cambodian government aims to generate 20 percent of energy from renewable energy.

This news was released by Permanent Secretary of States at Ministry of Mines and Energy Ith Praing, at the Singapore-IRENA High-Level Forum of Singapore International Energy Week 2021.

Cambodia’s electricity is dominated by renewable energy, hydropower dams, accounting for 88 percent followed by solar power, Praing said, adding that Cambodia still has some coal-fired power plants in the mixture and imports to support the country’s power stability.
