Asian Champion Snooker in Korea - Cambodian Gold Medalist

Cambodian female Snooker Athlete - Srong Pheavy has won Gold Medal in First Asian Championship Ladies 3-Cushion 2018 on 26 November 2018 which held in Korea.

According to Pheavy, this is the first time Asian Snooker Federation organized female Asian Championships. It has 16 competitors from three countries, including nine Korean, six Japanese and one Cambodian. 

"This success is a driving factor that encourages me to put more efforts to compete in international games by representing Cambodia. Even though there are few participants in the tournament, it is a great honor, and I hope the next tournament will be more special, especially to see more Cambodian women joining this event; highly encourage,” she added.

She had beaten her opponent from Japan by winning six matches straight.
