The concept is relatively new in the Kingdom, but it has generated much interest within a short span of time that nearly 500 trust companies have queued up for registration with over USD 300 million funds in their hands.

A RICH HISTORY WITH A TOUCH OF MYSTERY

Khéma’s signature dish is all about flavour and tradition, laced with a little gallic je ne sais quoi. The Steak-frites Café de Paris is an iconic dish that blends a generous portion of rustic, hearty indulgence with a slice of true French elegance. But notwithstanding the name, like other iconic French dishes [could link to the croissant story], its true origins lie across nearby borders.

Steak-Frites Café de Paris was first popularised in 1930’s Geneva and is composed of three essentials: the steak, which you are free to do with as you wish, though the tradition is an entrecôte (rib-eye), the frites, which at the time were a seriously luxury food, and the sauce that is the heart of this deceptively simple dish. The original sauce from the original Café de Paris restaurant remains a trade secret to this day, and is still distributed under licence to restaurants across France and elsewhere.
