Two More Asean Direct Flights

Cambodia continue to aim more direct air links with all Asean member. Two additional new airlines from Philippines and Indonesia will be launching connecting flight to the Kingdom this year.

PAL President Jaime Bautista announced, "Philippine Airlines' strategic vision is to make the Philippines a true gateway to Asia. It will leverage Manila's excellent geographical location as an ideal stopover point for people flying to Southeast and South Asia from the east and west coasts of North America.

More Cambodians Travel of Leisure

Cambodians had been heavily travelling to overseas for leisure, as the number of the Kingdom’s outbound tourists had reached nearly two million last year; according to tourism insider, it was due to a change in spending power of the middle-class Cambodian.

Unique Modernist Resort in Phnom Penh

The Bale Phnom Penh opened in 2018 as the first property of the boutique resort chain Lifestyle Retreats outside of Bali, Indonesia. The 18-suite stunner is located approximately 15 kilometers from Phnom Penh’s city center, an easy 20 minute drive but feels like a world away with its placid and zen-like ambiance.

New Phnom Penh Museum Open to Public

The new Samdech Techo Hun Sen Guidance Museum at the capital’s Win-Win Monument is now open four days a week (from 2-5pm on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to the public, which had announced by the memorial’s committee.

Investment Law to be Enacted

The Cambodia government is gathering input from the private sector and development partners to review the country’s Investment Law by aiming to be one of the attractive destination for foreign investment.

Cambodia Investment Law was promulgated in 1993. The first revised was in 2003.
