Cambodia Will Gain Economic Sovereignty and National Pride, says Philip Bank 

Cambodia’s first ever expressway officially starts today, with a groundbreaking ceremony presided over by Prime Minister Hun Sen. The project cost an estimated of USD1.9 billion, is expected to complete in 2023. It will alleviate traffic from National Road 4, connecting capital city to Sihanoukville’s deep-sea port, the main gateway for exports and imports.

Feasibility Studies for Monorail and Metro System Started

In a bid to reduce the city’s traffic woes, a group of Chinese experts has begun feasibility studies on monorail project and metro system in Phnom Penh.  
During a road safety meeting at the Ministry of Interior held in the month of May, Sun Chanthol, the Minister of Public Works and Transportation announced the feasibility studies has begun in an attempt to improve public transportation in the city.
