AQUARII BD (CAMBODIA) TIES UP WITH MERIDIAN INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS 

Aquarii BD (Cambodia), a business strategy and development company established by diplomat-turned-businessman Michael Tan has inked a preferred partnership agreement with Meridian International Holdings.
 
We had established a subsidiary company cater for consultancy service, named CKHG Consultancy, in year 2019.
 
CKHG aims to provide comprehensive advice and solutions to the international business community, including offering virtual office, support and administration services, accounting and advisory on tax and local regulatory requirements.

SHREWSBURY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PHNOM PENH 

The Shrewsbury School, one of the leading independent schools from the United Kingdom, is scheduled to officially open in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in September 2022. As part of its preparations for opening, Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh organised an IQ test with the aim of providing scholarships for prospective pupils on the basis of their performance in the test.

RESIDENTIAL PRICE INDEX WILL CONTROL PROPERTY PRICES, REDUCE RISK OF CRISIS 

Real estate experts welcomed Residential Property Price Index (RPPI), which will help Cambodia control the rise of housing prices and reduce the risk of crisis in the industry.
 
PropNex Cambodia Real Estate managing director Ann Sothida commented that transactions and pricing of homes or properties in Cambodia are currently “unclear” and there is no caveat record.
 
The implementation of RPPI is considered a “good start” as it would serve as a basis for measuring the fluctuation of housing prices in accordance to the standard. It would enable the authorities to intervene or manage the property sector well by taking in control the situation.

"HANDOVER" OF SINGER'S ODE TO CAMBODIA LIFT TIES WITH JAPAN

Japanese singer and actress Yoko Minamino’s original song 'Rainbow for Tomorrow' has been delivered to Cambodia as a gesture of friendship in a handover ceremony between senior diplomats of both country.

Tout Panha, secretary of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, shared that the “beautiful” song had “touched the heart” of Prime Minister Hun Sen when it was played to him at a dinner hosted by Japan counterpart Fumio Kishida in Kumamoto city, Japan, at 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit.

Prime Minister Hun Sen had sent her an appreciation letter for writing the song.

CURRENT TRANSMISSION OF ELECTRICITY TO VILLAGES AT ABOUT 98 PERCENT, SAYS MINISTER OF ENERGY

The development of the electricity sector in Cambodia has progressed remarkably, and 98 percent of villages in Cambodia have access to electricity.

This statement was made by Suy Sem, Minister of Mines and Energy, during the announcement ceremony of Leng Lat as the Director of the Department of Mines and Energy of Siem Reap.
The Minister stated that the remaining two percent of villages that do not have access to the transmission lines were due to the remoteness of their location, such as several villages located in deep forests. Solar panels had installed in a few villages to provide electrical access.

JAPANESE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION IN CAMBODIA (JBAC) AT FLATIRON 28FL FUNCTION ROOM

Japanese Business Association had first time having their quarterly meeting held at Flatiron by Meridian modernistic Function Room situated at 28th Floor. The city skyline was visible for miles and the bright lights of the cityscape were a beautiful sight. 29 pax Japanese members commented on how wonderful it was to be able to see the city from such a high vantage point. The set dinner was served & catered by Khema Restaurant in Flatiron by Meridian’s Building.
