Train carriages from Mexico reach port

The shuttle service connecting Phnom Penh Centre and the airport will soon be upgraded with new carriages imported from Mexico, according to the service manager.

Royal Railways, the company that manages the country’s railway network, said the three carriages arrived at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port on Tuesday, and according to Transport Minister Sun Chanthol that it will be in service “soon”.

Racing track to lunch in mid-2019

Mong Reththy Group and Yamamoto Rock Products Co Ltd signed an agreement to build a race car circuit in Kampong Speu province, which is expected to launch in the middle of the year. The circuit will cover 22.68 hectares of land in Kampong Speu’s Samrougtorng district, making it one of the biggest in the world, according to Mong Reththy Group.
