CAMBODIAN STUDENT SCORE HIGHEST IN WORLD ACCA 

CamEd Business School accounting student, Chan Phi Srey Linh has achieved highest score in worldwide international Basic Audit Examination exam organized by Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom.

The exam is a basic course of “FAU auditing” which is the major subject of Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) curriculum and it requires students to submit all worksheets to UK for evaluation.

CAMBODIA'S KAMPOT PEPPER GRANTED "GI" CERTIFICATION  

The Ministry of Commerce has secured geographical indication (GI) certification of Cambodia’s Kampot pepper from 50 countries. 

The update was released by the Minister of Commerce, Pan Sorasak when presiding over official Handover Ceremony of Czech Machine and Buying “Kampot Pepper” from Small Farmers by EU Land and Pepper Company.

He highly appreciated the Czech and EU sides for the support needed amidst COVID-19 crisis to further promote Cambodia’s product in global markets.

Cambodia remains world’s best tourism destination for year 2020, announced by Ministry of Tourism, stressing that scores of international institutions and websites specializing in rating the best tourism places around the world have ranked Cambodia among the best place to visit and live.

My International Movers, based in the UK, America, and Australia, in January this year rated Cambodia No. 1 among the top ten friendliest countries in the world to migrate.

IMF:
CAMBODIA TO BE FASTES-GROWING ECONOMY IN ASEAN BY 2025

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected that Cambodia will be the third-fastest growing economy in ASEAN next year and fastest growing economy in the region by 2025.

It had recently released World Economic Outlook; Cambodia’s economy forecast to shrink at 2.8 percent this year, much higher than 1.5 percent contraction forecast for Indonesia.

Top leaders in finance and technology from more than 40 countries, including Cambodia, will be gathering “virtually” next week to discuss the evolution of financial services and technology in a world being reshaped by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The World Fintech Festival 2020 is the post-Coronavirus 19 version of Singapore Fintech Festival, the world’s leading physical event of its kind which last year drew 60,000 participants from 140 countries to Singapore, including heads of state, policymakers and financial and technology leaders.
